The giving season has begun! As children we await that glorious Christmas morning when we get to open all the presents that Santa brought to us the night before. We all get use to getting during the Christmas season. Sometimes we forget the real reason for the holidays - giving.
Let's do something different this year.!
Instead of falling into the rut of "buy, buy, buy," let's remember the real reason for the season, and give.
The Giving Season Has Begun!
This holiday season, we invite you to give on to The Refuge. Through your support, The Refuge partners with local churches to give shelter and food to over 50 people a year. The Refuge also provides miscellaneous items such as boots, socks, bedding and pillows. We also provide other services to guide people to get them back on their feet. We could not do this without you!
In the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, it's easy to lose sight of what really matters. The Bible says that "God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son…" This is the spirit of Christmas. Let us remember and give like our God gave.
