- We keep an updated list of needed items on our Amazon Wish list
Drop off donations from this list Tuesday - Friday 9 AM TO 3 PM leave items at our Restoration Center, 1009 N. Saginaw St., downtown Lapeer.
Does The Refuge Accept Clothing Donations?
We often get inquiries about donations. Generous people want to give in order to help the homeless. Certain donations we are not able to handle. Clothing is one of them.
To help our generous supporters to give towards The Refuge, we have partnered with New To You Consignment to receive donations of clothing and other items on our behalf. If you want to donate clothing or any other items to The Refuge, you can take them to New To You Consignment and donate on behalf of The Refuge.
We have a special partnership with New To You. If one of our guests have need of clothing, coats, shoes, boots, ect.. they can receive a special voucher from The Refuge to get clothing at no cost to the guest, having the amount deducted from The Refuge’s account.
Also, any other donations on behalf of The Refuge that are sold, a portion of the proceeds will go to The Refuge and will be used to help our guests.
With this new partnership we hope to be a help to the homeless, and give our supporters the opportunity to help in other ways.
