bE A BOARD MEMBER FOR THE rEFUGE
Being on the The Refuge Board is an opportunity to help the homeless and displaced people in our community directly. Not only will you be able to see what goes on behind the scenes for The Refuge, but the Board establishes policies for the administration and operation of The Refuge and oversee the implementation of these policies.
The Board is 100% volunteer that runs the largest volunteer organization in Lapeer County.
The Board is a working board. This means each member of the Board will have responsibilities that contribute to the function and administration of The Refuge. Responsibilities can include: monthly meetings, weekly volunteering for check-in , volunteering for fund raising activities, promoting The Refuge in the media, engaging with guests and other volunteers..etc.
The perfect candidate for the Board will have a love for Jesus Christ, His Church, and for the broken people of this world. Click the button below to download the Board Members Application.
